CHIPMUNKK!

The Universe is one great kindergarten for us.
Everything that exists
Has brought with it its own peculiar lesson.

went to Edward gardens again this summer! but unlike all the other times, i took a lot of pictures of animals [instead of flowers] :). anyways, i'll start this post with the easiest animals to take pictures of: the duck...

yahh, didn't take that many pictures of the duck since..well, it's so easy to get pictures of them. and they aren't that cute anyways, loll. but guess what? i finally got a picture of the fat furry thing that runs like crazy!! the same animal that we have invading our garden at home...

not quite sure what this animal is yet.. so if any of you know, please do tell :) [groundhog?!]. but for now, i shall just call it..fat mama. haha :D. anyways, the last animal we went chasing after was this little chipmunk. SO CUTE!

yupp, that's it for now! hopefully i'll post more often from now on, although it is quite hard to find time between summer school and work :\. ahh, can't wait for my birthday!!

Smithsonian Museums.

Can't waste time so give me a moment,
I'll realize nothing's broken.
No need to worry about everything I've done,
Live every second like it was my last one..

planes, paintings, mammals, sculptures, fossils, cannons - these can be found all around Washington.. in buildings collectively known as the Smithsonian Museums. we had way too little time to look through each and every building, but we did take a tour around the Air and Space and Natural History ones - since my dad loves reading about air fighters and the physics of this and that, and i love seeing the evolution, per se, and wonders of the earth..

haha, we got to see how hot/cold we were on a screen :).

oh, we also walked through part of one of the art museums (cause i saw the silver tree and just had to take a picture of it :D).

this next (dried?) specimen was absolutely disgustingly ugly.

Australopithecus Afarensis - grade 12 bio memories, lol :\.

that was supposedly the world's population at the time the picture was taken.

and the cutest fake animal ever..

The Visit to Edward's [2].

Who has told every lightning bolt where it should go?
Or seen heavenly storehouses laden with snow?
Who imagined the sun and gave source to its light?
Yet conceals it to bring us the coolness of night?
None can fathom.

alright, here's some more pictures!

this next photo completely intrigued me. i love how the spider web captured all these tiny water droplets and formed a seemingly standstill waterfall :).

if you've read my previous post on my first visit to Edward Gardens, you'd know that i wanted to revisit with my camera mostly to find and capture (in a photo) that enormous dragonfly! unfortunately, i didn't see it this time around :(. maybe next time. but anyways, i did see a few other creatures..

[how are chipmunks so fast? oh well, at least i got a picture of it! although i probably scared it half to death with the flast on my camera :S - but i had to! it wouldn't come out of the dark cabin. and i might've been able to take a better picture then.. if that creepy dragonfly didn't keep following me and scaring me away :(.

[i think the duck thought i was going to give it some food - it just walked right up to me! oh, and that was a disgusting spider.] might i add that the squirrel seems to have a rat[?!?] in its mouth? i'm hoping i'm wrong. and most probably i am..since squirrels do not eat rats unless.. no, they just never eat rats. at least over here in toronto, haha. but i was too far away to tell :(. anyways, i think that's enough little creatures in one post. so here's some 'nicer' things to look at.. :)
