The Instruments.

Move in a little closer, Take it to a whisper.
Get just a little louder.
Say it again for me
'Cause I love the way it feels when you are telling me
That I'm the only one who blows your mind.
Say it again for me,
It's like the whole world stops to listen
When you tell me you're in love.
Say it again.

i've realized that i have quite a number of instruments just sitting around in my home, most of which i have completely left to collect dust :). and most of which i didn't bother to set up to take a photo of, haha. i should start playing them again :\.

then, there are the other instruments that, well, i've never known how to play before :). like my brother's electric guitar. i don't even know if i should call it his, seeing that he hasn't bothered to change the string that broke a couple of months ago :\. then again, ebay randomly gave it to him instead of the acoustic he was planning to get. in any case, it's apparently a lot more expensive than what we paid for. but those ebay people were just too lazy to get it back :).

The Lobster.

and wow, i really do have nothing to do these days haha.
well, yesterday my mom brought home live lobsters.
soo, i decided to take a photo of them before they became our dinner >:).

it was harder than i thought to take a picture of this lobster in the sink in a dark corner of the kitchen :\. loll and my mom forgot to put it in saltwater instead of freshwater :(. so sadly, the lobster died before i even took a picture of it. but it still looks half-lively, doesn't it?

The Garden.

I've seen dreams that move the mountains,
hope that doesn't ever end even when the sky is falling.
I've seen miracles just happen,
silent prayers get answered,
broken hearts become brand new.
That's what faith can do.

so, i just felt like experimenting with my camera today and i realized that we had a lot more flowers in our [little box my mom calls a] garden than i thought we had. most of them were probably planted by birds that randomly flew by our backyard at some point in time, but the randomness of all the flowers together, well, worked :).

the only rose that has actually blossomed in our garden!

this flower actually caught a wish for itself :).

The Coin.

When faced with two choices, simply toss a coin.
It works not because it settles the question for you,
but because in that brief moment
when the coin is in the air,
you suddenly know what you're hoping for.
